-Exalts Christ as the only head of the church

-Has its worship patterned after New Testament example

(John 4:24; Acts 2:42; 20:7; 1 Corinthians 16:2; Ephesians 5:19)

-Teaches unity based upon the truth of Christ

(John 17:21; 1 Corinthians 1:10; Ephesians 4:3)

-Pleads for unity of all believers in Christ

(1 Corinthians 3:1-5; Ephesians 4:4-6)

-Has Christ as its founder, and is not a denomination started by men, but is the body of Christ

(Matthew 16:18; Ephesians 1:22-23)

-Whose aim is to save souls by leading them to Christ through the gospel

(1 Corinthians 15:1-4)

-Whose future is eternal glory with Christ

(1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Colossians 3:4)
